The Run-Down

Robin & Roo is the brainchild of a full-time nanny who saw a hole in the market of boutique nanny agencies. Millennials, now in need of childcare, have much more discerning visual tastes than previous generations and require unique brand experiences. They want reliable and responsible nannies, but they should be creative and interesting, too. The brand identity encompasses childlike playfulness with a slight edge of pinterest-esque femininity to impart a sense of nurturing. The final logo design (much like the nannies they employ, and the children they care for) is charming, but heroic. The logo adapts easily across online and print advertising.  The word mark is elegant and trustworthy, while never losing that open-eyed sense of adventure. These same elements are infused into the design of the website through the use of fun, bright pastel colours, simple typography, and whimsical graphics. 

 

Robin & Roo's founder wanted a business card that both fit the brand and her personality - so the finished product captures the softer, more feminine side of the brand.
